Maiori, 16 May 2026 – In the splendid setting of the Hall of Frescoes of Palazzo Mezzacapo , the historic seat of the Municipality of Maiori, the brothers Marco and Luca Casaburi took part in the opening evening of the 20th edition of ..incostieraamalfitana.it – Mediterranean Book Festival , the prestigious cultural event conceived and directed by Alfonso Bottone.
During the event, which officially opened the calendar of the Amalfi Coast’s itinerant cultural event, Marco and Luca Casaburi presented the project “Walk with Us 2026 – Alta Via dei Monti Lattari” , promoted through the portal altaviadeimontilattari.it .
The initiative, dedicated to promoting the area through trekking and slow tourism, offers a hiking trip along the Alta Via dei Monti Lattari, the famous Italian Alpine Club trail that connects Corpo di Cava to Punta Campanella, crossing some of Campania’s most evocative landscapes, suspended between sea, mountains, history, and tradition.
Participation in the event represented an important opportunity to share the beauty and uniqueness of the Lattari Mountains with the public, promoting a conscious enjoyment of the area and an authentic way of experiencing nature.
Particularly moving was the moment when Alfonso Bottone was presented with a framed photograph depicting a spectacular sunrise over the Sorrento Peninsula, captured from Monte Comune by the Casaburi brothers during one of their hikes. A symbolic, meaningful tribute that captures the essence of the “Walk with Us” project: sharing emotions, landscapes, and stories along the trails of the Lattari Mountains.
Combining culture, literature, and local promotion, the evening in Maiori once again confirmed how walking can be a tool for understanding, meeting, and promoting local identities.
