History, sounds, lights, colours, special effects, all in 40 minutes of video mapping and holographic projections that take you through A THOUSAND YEARS of history of Ravello’s foremost monument: Villa Rufolo.
The magic of mapping brings Villa Rufolo to life in all its splendour. The gardens, the main tower and the façades of the monument that symbolises Ravello come alive thanks to technology to tell the story of the monument and of the City of Music. The journey is strictly in version 2.0, both in its content and in the equipment used, making the experience even more immersive and engaging.
Our host and guide is Lorenzo Rufolo, who accompanies visitors step by step, story after story, discovering the myths and characters that made the Villa and Ravello famous around the world: from Wagner to Reid, from Boccaccio to Escher, right up to the present day; a journey of “A Thousand Years of Magic”. A one-of-a-kind show that has already won unanimous praise from audiences in past editions.
