The Way begins: destination Praia de Labruge.

We leave Porto behind us, heading down along the Douro river: what a sight it is to watch the boats and ships passing under the bridges.

We carry on until we reach the Atlantic Ocean… it far exceeds our expectations, with strong waves and tireless wind keeping us company the whole time. First the rocks and then the big beaches; we walk along the wooden boardwalks and the ocean landscape is a little wild. We pass a few small churches and an obelisk until we reach the little fishing village of Labruge.
Past the mountains of nets, buoys and boats we head towards the bay, and finally we stop at Cimo de Vila where we can at last get some rest.
Tomorrow is another day, another destination awaits us.
